Peer Editing; Body Paragraphs

Your final essay is due tomorrow.

Make sure you read your partner's body paragraphs for the following:

Step 3: Body Paragraphs
1. Topic Sentence
a. should introduce what the paragraph is about
b. should be related to the thesis statement
2. Examples/Details (more than one per paragraph)
a. should use a signal phrase: for example, for instance
i. look at the language of evidence chart
b. should have internal citations

3. Paraphrase/Explanation
a. the quote should be put into the writer’s own words - an explanation of what it means
b. should use a signal phrase to introduce
4. Analysis

5. Transition to next body paragraph
